On the 6th July the curtain will be raised for the 21st time at the huge Cologne AIDS Gala benefiting the Cologne AIDS-Hilfe. Numerous stars from film, radio and television will grace the red carpet for this special event held in Cologne's Maritim Hotel. Guests can look forward to a glamorous and unforgettable gala evening.
Your hosts for the evening are ARD presenter Mareile Höppner and actor Wayne Carpendale.
As a guest at the Cologne AIDS Gala you are showing solidarity for people living with HIV and AIDS and with the purchase of a ticket you will support the work of the Cologne AIDS-Hilfe. The Cologne AIDS-Hilfe has been helping and informing people about infection risks and protection possibilities for over 25 years. Nevertheless, the fight against AIDS has not yet been won: On average, every second day a person in Cologne will become HIV-positive and people are still dying from the effects of AIDS - across Germany as well. Therefore, it is still important to take action against infection myths and discrimination, to demand solidarity and to live.
Entry to the gala is also available for people in wheel chairs and the whole program will be translated into sign language for those with hearing impairments. Entry tickets ranging from 20 up to 58 Euros can be purchased online at www.koelner-aidsgala.de or at one of the Köln-Ticket pre-sales agencies.
